Solid wood parquet (boards & strip)

All on board. Boarded floors, also known as plank or strip flooring, are made of solid wooden planks of the best quality. Back in the 13th century planks were cut out of the middle of beautiful tree trunks. This passion, and the atmosphere emanating from these boards and their special grain remains to this day. Here at Parquet Böhm, our material of choice for floorboards is oak. What we love about oak is its classic, modern and timeless look. We also fit larch, Douglas fir and walnut flooring. Naturally perfect and beautifully down to earth. Just like parquet, hardwood flooring guarantees wonderful ambience in your home. Good times.

Mosaic parquet/on-edge lamella

One of the oldest versions of parquet design is mosaic parquet. While parallel is the most frequently used pattern, other variations such as the “English pattern” are also very popular. Mosaic parquet can be further accentuated by the use of different woods. More suited for moderate stress, it can sanded, renovated and refinished after a few years.

Multi-layer parquet

As the name suggests, this parquet is constructed out of several layers. There may be two or three layers, whereby the so-call surface or running layer generally consists of solid wood with a thickness of 2 – 8 millimetres. The surface can be delivered ready-to-use or, on request, finished on-site after fitting. The rigid multi-layer parquet is ideally suited for underfloor heating and can be fitted with large-format boards up to a length of 1200 cm and a width of 80 cm. And the best thing? It can be refurbished. We have a variety of patterns for this type of parquet too, for example: herringbone, braided, rustic or panelled.
